He’s awkwardly efficient. Like the way he uses his body to get space and position. Not uber skilled, but he’s the kind of guy that’s killed us historically.

played 9 games last year for Siena and had procedures on both knees...

looking at his game log from last season, best team he played was st bonaventure - in 35 mins had 4 points on 2 of 9 shooting...

I hope this long streak of orange bigs with potato knees ends now and he has a great season...but until proven otherwise, Im not counting on goodrick for next season...and i think penciling him in for anything other than 3rd center is big time risky in a roster build, for multiple reasons

If you aren’t familiar with the roster, you aren’t much of a fan. No reasonable person will disagree on that.

So note I was correcting your basic lack of knowledge, not extolling virtues of players. But since you asked, I think Tas is an upgrade on Souare as a backup center. Just as Siby is an upgrade over Diawara.

Hopefully we get Wilson, who I think would be about the same as Kyle. Maybe a slight upgrade. Not going to spend a lot of time comparing players and reviewing film though until/unless Wilson verbals here.

Slight to modest upgrade over Kyle and not to put down Kyle. Wilson is not getting pushed around down low, and and bully his man in the low post. Kyle was our most impactful player if not best player in quite a few games so getting even a small upgrade would be a huge win.

update. A quick Google search shows that Alex Karaban was the Captain of UConn.
