Technically didn't say it in his tweet, but by tagging our guy Neil, he basically did indicate that Syracuse is one of the ACC programs "turning up the pressure" on Chol Machot.

Listed as a 4 star transfer on multiple outlets, 7'0" 190 lbs. Played a year of Juco ball before transferring to Charleston where he won conference defensive player of the year and put up 18/11/5 blocks per 40 minutes.

Not rated highly by EvanMiya, not particularly loved by BPM metrics either, but seems like a decent talent with potential if he's able to fill out his body a bit.

Take him in a heartbeat. Let the staff work with him and he’ll be great

3.0 Turnovers per 40 and nearly 5 fouls per 40 too.

That's correct, my friend. I'll leave out the details out of respect for Jamie Shaw, who is a friend of mine, but your assumption is right :)

Like his aggression but don't like the weight. 190 is really light. I mean 210 is light for a 7 footer and he is 20 pounds lower? Probably pretty quick and looks in court shape to "run" the court. Again like his aggression from video but 190 is really light.

He is a fluid 7 footer, so I understand the interest despite the metrics. But, the dental floss physique...

We don't have time to wait for him to gain weight and muscle. Let him bulk up at another school unless he's a cheap bench piece.

Yeah, I know what's posted in the article at least but leaving it out since it's behind a paywall.

Kinda interesting thing is those two games from the beginning of the year he is playing a gigantic drop defense. You'd think with him being as light as he is that you're sacrificing strength for the ability to help and recover but they were playing him like he's present-day Brook Lopez or Rudy Gobert instead.

It does look like he started to show on screens a bit more as the season went on.

Will probably do more of a deep-dive on him if he ends up committing here, but at first glance, he doesn't seem as mobile/coordinated/bouncey as I expected him to be with how light he is.
