Yeah but freeman and white are both gonna play heavy minutes and at least one of the 2 will play minutes at the 5 I have to thinkNot true we only have 1 center on the roster
Who are you referring to? Who would you prefer that is left? There’s guys gone already too that would of been nice to have. I just hope they didn’t just focus on him. His experience is attractive.
The Taco Bell didn’t do it?I remember those days and when it had Taco Bell and kfc too. Even then something that sent you to the facilities in a hurry…
Kyle is a 4/5, he could be Freeman’s backup and the starter at center’s backup. He could slide over to play next to another center, although it would really sacrifice shooting.Yeah but freeman and white are both gonna play heavy minutes and at least one of the 2 will play minutes at the 5 I have to think
Dishon Jackson from Iowa State is apparently another target. A bunch of guys just entered the portal in the past couple of days.Do we know they’ve focused on him much at all? I think they’ve been keeping it close to the vest, and they obviously went out and brought in William Kyle quickly. I’m glad they are looking at other center options to bolster the front court.
Who would people most like to land if not Ballard?
A better shooter? At center? I’m assuming this is sarcasm. To me Quincy is a limited type of player. I’d rather have somebody more well-rounded and a better shooter.
Do your homework then and see who was available and who isn’t anymore. Seems like you’re the one complaining because you don’t like my opinion. Nothing is gonna change.Who are you referring to? Who would you prefer that is left?
It starts to feel like complaining to complain after a while.
Donnie is not a center.Yeah but freeman and white are both gonna play heavy minutes and at least one of the 2 will play minutes at the 5 I have to think
I don't get the whole Donnie at center thing. The dude is NOT a center. He is tall, but he needs to develop strength. He WILL not develop the strength required to play center. He and Sadiq playing together at forward requires Donnie playing the 3 on offense. He can do that, but even that requires some work.Donnie is not a center.
It wasn’t sarcasm; this is modern basketball and we need to have the lane occasionally clear for our drivers to be effective.A better shooter? At center? I’m assuming this is sarcasm.
You keep saying the same thing, complaining about the idea we might recruit Ballard.Do your homework then and see who was available and who isn’t anymore. Seems like you’re the one complaining because you don’t like my opinion. Nothing is gonna change.
Nobody is saying he is a 5. Might he play some minutes there? Perhaps! We have two 5 star forwards in Freeman and White -- it's hard to think either will be coming off the bench. I don't think Donnie is ever gonna be a 3, as cool as that would be. Out of the two I would think White would see more time at the 5, but we don't know. That's the whole discussionI don't get the whole Donnie at center thing. The dude is NOT a center. He is tall, but he needs to develop strength. His recruitment has definitely been quiet. To me he's had two chances to pick Cuse and passed. I think he'd be a great get but not getting my hopes up.I haven’t seen list of schools who are interested in Ballard.
Then we should have more guards that can create and a more developed offense with movement. Winning teams seem to have no issue playing bigs that aren't outside shooting threats and still having the lane clear and able to get good looks within their offense. It wasn’t sarcasm; this is modern basketball and we need to have the lane occasionally clear for our drivers to be effective.
Perfect example would be HoustonThen we should have more guards that can create and a more developed offense with movement. Winning teams seem to have no issue playing bigs that aren't outside shooting threats and still having the lane clear and able to get good looks within their offense.
Let’s keep whining about each other then. It might be fun.You keep saying the same thing, complaining about the idea we might recruit Ballard.
You usually are a fine poster, but right now you’re just whining.

This is a great point. There is believed to be fewer than 3,000 people in the world that are 7ft tall. We have no low post presence. And the syracuse fan board says "we can do better than a 7ft, 250 pound center that moves well and averages 10pts, 9rebs and 2 blocks a game." Guys, we may have no chance with Quincy, but where are these imaginary "better" options coming from?
