Possible new interest on the center front from an international player! Tiefing Diawara is a 6-11, 240 pound center from Mali, who played prep at St Johns DME (WI) last year. I can't locate any stats from last year and not sure of the level of competition but I did see that he won player of the week last year for his team after having a week where he averaged 14ppg and 12rpg and was noted for his hustle and hard work. From the highlights he shows some skill at finishing and rebounding, and also a little shot blocking and passing too. He seems like he would be a good pickup, at minimum a developmental player and depth for next year, but perhaps has potential for more.

Very interesting. I live about 25min from this school. I can confirm that the competition is generally low. They have tried to become a legit prep school, but haven't been able to attract consistent talent and don't really have the resources.

I'm assuming since he has not played in any NCAA games, he would have full 4 years left but I'm not sure about that.
