He had a good season at Kentucky as a sophomore, looked like a breakout candidate when he transferred to K-State. I won’t burger to look into what happened, but all his rate stats cratered, and so did his minutes. Somehow his Block % dropped by half! But whatever… he’ll want to get paid like he’s still that Five Star recruit, and isn’t coming here to be part of a center rotation.
It would be cool if he did. He’s a physical specimen, and had a terrific block percentage at Kentucky, Importantly, he is another guy who knows what he can do offensively. Dunk and if you can’t dunk, pass to a guard. 40 field goal attempts in 265 minutes last season, making .700 of his shots. Career .630 free throw shooter, but made 10 of 13 last season. Interesting reclamation project, but probably not a guy we want to deal with in the locker room. (just a guess, I don’t know much about him other than his stats, college choices, and transfer history)
