I think we’ve adequately responded in a couple of cases. We are playing the game, we have fewer chips and have to be judicious…

And maybe it’s just the cynic in me, but he only committed to the bowl game.

The portal is only open for entry until 1/18. He would have time to enter the portal after the bowl. The portal is already filled to the brim with transfers he would be narrowing his chances of finding a landing spot at another P5 program if he waits.

One thing to keep in mind about Marlowe.

He’s incredibly close with his remaining family in Baltimore and attending Cuse has allowed him to spend holidays and off time whenever possible with them. Im fairly sure his grandmother and mother attend every home game.

Unless UMD gives an obscene offer I’m convincing myself to feel good here.

It’s easy for them to create their own channel, either in association with the university or not. They can sell sponsorships, ads, their own merch, and do live streams and get superchats for additional revenue.
