Calipari is the worst coach in college basketball

What time period is it that you're referencing? The thing I watched that talked about it stated that the NFL wasn't respected at the time, but I think the time period being referenced was the 1930's. I didn't know it continued for so long.
1960's. I was a kid. NFL was big. The college all star vs pros had a long tradition.

My group of four close friends and I would beat the UConn women by 25.

Ok. The thing I saw was definitely referencing an earlier era. I think it was something about some specific legendary college players and mentioned how many of them didn't even go to the NFL at that point for the reasons I state earlier. I didn't realize that game lasted so long. The NFL certainly had come a long way by the '60's.

i feel cal's big problem is greed. he's already proved he can get any recruit he wants. so he simply skims the cream off the top instead of seriously considering drafting for particular skill sets and building a truly cohesive unit with all the weapons that both compliment and enhance each other.

I went to SU bball camp in '89. We were in the dome doing drills etc. The SU women's team was on a court practicing. It was a matter of time before a few boys started trash talking the women. They set up a game between the camp "all-stars" vs SU women. The women beat down those boys so bad that the rest of us standing on the sidelines were literally laughing out loud. They embarassed the boys, and they all walked off the court with a new found respect. I was shocked, I thought the boys were going to win for sure, couldn't have been more wrong. I believe one of Tree Rollins son's was on that team.

Agreed. Its asinine--and yet members of the sports media bring it up / make that claim every year.

The difference in post play alone is night and day.

Regardless of talent or any other part of the argument, the simple fact is Kentucky's enter team would foul out of the game since NCAA "defense" goes against the rules basketball, which would be enforced by NBA refs.

How old were the boys?
