Can someone explain junior college transfer eligibility rules. I have read a few time that a guy has 3 to play 2. I assume this means he can be on campus for three seasons and play for two of them. What determines this? What kind of eligibility do Brewster, Jones and Wayne Williams have?

Players have five years of eligibility- including one for redshirting. If they don't sit out a year in JUCO, that redshirt carries over to their four year school.

I think if you go to a JUCO, you have to play two years. Don't quote me on that.

Williams will have three years to play two years if he comes here. Jones appears to have used two years of eligibility, but I'm not sure.
