Can someone say something positive...

Ish's catch.

D had solid stretches.

2-2 on FGs.

Punting looks ok.

Gulley's vision on his punt return.

Nope. This team's play and results have been extremely disappointing so far, and we look like we're headed for our worst season since 2008. There's nothing positive about anything that's happened so far unless blowing out Central Michigan fires you up.

We got lucky to beat Villanova at home.
We lost by 2 TD's at home to Maryland.
We got blown out at home by Louisville.

If we were on track, at the minimum we would've hammered Villanova, beaten Maryland, and played Louisville tough. Is that expecting too much?

This is going in the wrong direction.

yes that's asking too much winning the Maryland game means we are on track. Nova game gets a pass with freshman quarterback first ever action in a college game and hunt running was big part of nova gameplan

Wayne Williams is becoming a force, Big John played and looked mobile, the D played very well considering they were on the field for 40 minutes, Ishm looked very good why he isnt in every snap is beyond me. Palmer did well at RT, Reddish had a very strong game.

Hunt, while a flawed passer - is a hell of a kid. He's got running ability and things will open up vs the lesser teams on the schedule.

Our Oline has been good enough to crank some running yards and protect long enough in most cases.

The D is turning people over, hitting hard - and will still terrorize a few opposing QB's (not next week).

The freshman should see the field more and look good.

I've got no positives. Every time something positive happens we find a way to screw it up. I've never seen a team screw up this much.

Have we been inside the ten yard line without being penalized? How many times have our players been tackled a foot before the first down line on third down? Or tackled the other teams player a foot after the first down line? How many more times are we going to throw screens for <3 yards? How many times have we had third and short (or goal) and not gotten it? Can we score a touchdown without it being called back? Can we throw to Ishmael after he makes an amazing catch? How about we play a game without dropped touchdowns/interceptions? How many missed tackles can we get in a single game? Why was Norton ever starting ahead of anybody else on the roster? Has anybody taught our offensive line what a false start is?

The ineptitude this team has shown EVERY week except CMU is astounding.

Did you fall asleep for 30 minutes when their offense had one yard in 5 possessions? Lewis may have gotten tackled on the one - but that was a hell of catch.

Not being able to see any positives tells me far more about you than the team.

I know it's hard. I know our coaching staff stinks, our QB is hurt and stinks, we have the best team coming in next week. Seriously, is there anything worth keeping positive about? I'm in desperate need!

we aren't going to go 1-11

Positive: Erv Phillips is still alive...I think.

He needs to take a seat. He has a great future, but right now he's running like a kid who knows he's about to get killed. He's not physically ready. When he limped off at the end, I felt bad that they threw him back in there in the first place.

PTG, AAM, Morris is running harder now. That's your 3. If McFarlane comes back from injury and looks better than Morris, then go with him. 3 RBs is plenty.
