2nd string RB on two of those plays, to boot. This game is on YouTube, btw. I wish at least one of the play calls could have given the chance for McNabb to get it into the end zone. It was just too much time with Tenn having two TOs to try to run down the clock. And Jamal Lewis was a beast.

Because I'm a masochist I just watched that last set of downs.

UGH.

After a ridiculous throw by McNabb to get us to the 10, we go straight inside hand off to K-Mac for 3 (who gets hurt), then quick "option" pitch to Dee Brown who was 7 yards behind the LOS for 3 (McNabb was not keeping it hence the quotes around option), then another straight inside hand off to Brown for 2.

We were so clearly terrified of a turnover. Just trying to kill clock and make sure we got 3 points.

Ugh.

But hey, our OL was getting dominated apparently, so you gotta run straight into the teeth of the DL three straight times!

The Vols dominated our lines all day.

Al Wilson the awesome Vols LB was in McNabb's face all day.

The SU coaching and a few heroic plays by Donovan, kept us in the game and nearly won it against the eventual National Champion SEC team.

But for that stupid penalty call, we win it.

I'm sorry, it is mind boggling to me to read these kinds of posts.

Agree. Did not mind the playcall there. The late flag on Will Allen - and I do think it was the right call - was so painful. Game over from there.
