Can we file a missing person's report for Jerome Smith?

For whatever reason, MCD lkes to call PTG to run east-west instead of JS north and south. When Smith runs and sets up PTG we have great running games. And PTG can run N/S. That is why I don't understand the love for an E/W running game.

I also don't get why we throw so many swing passes. If Clark and Estime weren't slippery, every one of these would be for a loss and no defense is fooled by this. Every defense reads this play like the open book it is.

Hate those play calls. Really wrecked a nice drive at the end of the first half - Gulley can't make it to the corner on first down (and Wales blows a block) and we end up stalling and losing a good scoring opportunity.

No more east/west with guys who are slower than the defense, please.

Smith is such a better back than PTG. It kills me to see him on the sidelines. And Smith has really worked on his kickout game, which he showed today. Sweep with PTG makes sense though after seeing Smith run all over.
