Unfortunately, I don't think you can draw conclusions yet about retention yet by the delay. The players that would go into the portal now would probably do so with a more detailed plan. That is, they would be surveying the landscape and predetermine a landing spot. This would probably be the case for A Griffin.

For Frank, I think the passage of time increases his odds of coming back. He didn't do anything rash and the avenue/future at SU is bright. Sid will probably be on a pitch count and Jesse and Frank both will get plenty of time. And after proving himself and another year of learning, Frank's role will continue to increase.

Have you ever considered that these conversations with coaches happen in house and they dont notify the media? There is a very real chance the JB knows their decisions and intentions.

I thought I read somewhere that kids have 48 hrs to enter the portal once they tell a coach they are transferring. Do you think after 2 sanctions, JB would not follow the rules or allow the kids to? Of course the kids could have told the staff they were strongly considering transferring and given their reasons but that qualifier protects both sides.

It really isn't up to anyone but the person making the decision when they should make a life changing decision. No one should tell you when you should change jobs are ask your girlfriend to marry. Two weeks ago it was too soon. Now, it is dragging and it is getting too late. You notice who doesn't say things like that? Coaches.

There has been nothing from Frank and AG. Last news was Woody leaving a week ago.

There should be a rule with this new NCAA transfer portal you have 14 days after the NC Game to make your decision. These kids are playing around taking their sweet time and the programs and coaches need to know. It's almost selfish to drag this out.

Not about me it's about the college programs and coaches they are leaving that need to replace them.
