Canada games for NYC TWC watchers..

Looks like the games will be on channel 197. Good to get that question out of the way and to know I can not only watch the games on my best TV in my most comfortable situation but also record them. Four SU BB games in August and going to the Penn State game in August. Sports life is good again.

197 is not it for central queens.

Try going to 197. They are posting upcoming events on the sports center. Maybe it's different for Queens, but I wouldn't think so. Good luck.

Nah, no deal. Not 179 (MTV Hits) and did a search on three different tv listings websites. No mention of Syracuse nor any basketball game of relevance. Now, Time Warner is getting to me and I have Fios, was going to my folks place!
Disappointed. And they wonder why we resort to other feeds. lol

I searched on http://ww2.titantv.com/ for Time Warner Digital Brooklyn/Queens and it shows all 4 games on channel 415 and/or 427. I was happy.

Then I tried scrolling through to tomorrow on my tv channel guide and I don't see the games. Now I am confused. :bat:

I was on the phone with tw for an hour this morning. I live in queens but will be at work in manhattan during the game. They can't find the game being televised on any channel, in either borough.

Is there a definitive answer to this?

Looks like a no go in Queens. Will reach out to my folks once more, but they don't even have the package that would have had it. Still shows other content and not Cuse in tv guide.

As I noted above, when I go directly to channel 197, it runs through their sports schedule for the next few days; they list all of the SU Canadian games. If you go to the guide, it just shows sports center or something like that.

415 and 427 in Queens. Game is on, but my parents didn't subscribe to this package.
It's either firstrow or 44.44 for me.

My bad about before, but if you're in Queens and have TW, if you get that package, games will be on 415 and/or 427.

I have Fios. No first row unless there's a surprise at the last minute, contrary to some info we had.
Caving in, paying the fee. I just want to watch the games, and would be pretty disappointed to find out there are no other streams at the last minute.

game should just show up. if you have the black screen with white letters your good.

Been juggling with this idea. Instead, I bought a six pack, have some Jack Daniels and paying the fee.
Not happy about the fee, but even if first row comes up, this is piece of mind. Sick of searching for links.

Same thing in Poughkeepsie area. 197. But not listed in the guide just on the scrolling header on the channel. Tw puts local sports on this channel, once in awhile. Not HD, but better than nothing. Dvr is in 4 hr chunks.
