Anyone who is upset we beat this MAC Team Toledo by only 3 points really has no reason to complain about it.
Toledo nearly took out OHIO STATE, a team that has more talent than us for sure. Although The Buckeyes have a new coaching staff, which takes some time to acclimate, there is only one reason why they couldn't overpower the Rockets:
TOLEDO IS A GOOD TEAM
Sometimes, conference affiliation means much less than it normally does. Some teams step up in these smaller conferences & play BCS level football.
Ten years ago,who would have thought Boise State would be a Championship contender? I used to mock the Super Smurfs back then in my matchup cliches.
Instead of being embarrassed, we should be proud that we beat a good team that nearly took out Ohio State and we prevented them from winning another game against a BCS opponent in 5 consecutive seasons...
