It's a FEATURE, not a bug.

There is a HUGE attack of many US media sites happening as we speak. As someone above said, it's a DDoS attack, which floods servers with so many IP's that it actually prevents real users from logging onto the site. Twitter has it happening, Syracuse.com, dozens and dozens of sites. Just gonna have to ride this one out!
