Absolute no brainer.
I know george karl won't be making that speech.Yep. First ballot, no question. Wonder if he’ll have JB do his intro for the speech.
There will be some direct shots from Melo to him.I know george karl won't be making that speech.
Could be - I was shocked to find out the only all stars that played for Boeheim were DC and Melo. Keeping my fingers crossed for Jerami...I did a quick google search on Syracuse University players in the NBA Hall of Fame, and returned: Dave Bing, Jim Boeheim, and Vic Hanson. Is that it?
I agree that he is first ballot Hall of Fame worthy. I’m also all in favor of him being on the top 75 team, but I think most of the detractors would argue that he wasn’t simply missing a championship, but he hardly had any playoff success. In the past, it surprised me that there were detractors, not me, of Carmelo, that despite his elite resume, there was criticism of him being seen only as a shooter and not being on NBA championship team despite his 2003 NCAA ship and olympic medals. For me, as a Bulls fan, I was only let down when he passed up coming to Chicago and play with the then healthy Derrick Rose, and went to NY to play for Knicks
How many of his playoff teams underachieved?I agree that he is first ballot Hall of Fame worthy. I’m also all in favor of him being on the top 75 team, but I think most of the detractors would argue that he wasn’t simply missing a championship, but he hardly had any playoff success.
Probably not that many. I admit I haven't taken a look back, but did that many overachieve? How many of his playoff teams underachieved?
