Doesn't feel like it? Seems like they got eclipsed by IMG, La Lumiere, Wasatch etc.

This list definitely has time to expand, especially with how Oak Hill operates

Clearly Carmelo was hired to bring them back to the glory days. But, I don't think they can get there. There are too many others that have sold their souls to the devil. I doubt IBM and Montverde give a crap about acedemics. Let alone Prolific Prep and the like.

Edit: This whole mess started with the top talent trying to achieve academic qualifications through traditional prep schools like Flint Hill and Oak Hill, but eventually it became IMG and Montverde.

Steve Smith, Oak Hill’s great long time coach for over 35 years, retired in 2022.The coach who followed him is now gone and John Zito, the coach of Team Melo’s AAU team is the new coach for this upcoming season with Melo being a co- GM.

If the new leadership can get the program back to being a top prep school with highly regarded recruits, Oak Hill could be a pipeline to SU. Perhaps a few of the rising players from Team Melo will follow Zito to Oak Hill.
