Interesting development. Desko seems to have solidified his position with the coach of the year award and no AD. I know Powell and the ex-Hartford coach are close. Could be a good fit for him.

Think he could be a contender down the road for sure. If he did go somewhere and spend the next 3-5 years learning the nuances of d-1 coaching, it could be a nice way to bring him in when Desko retires. This of course is given that Gait stays on the women's side.
