It looks like the Sox are making a big play for Ramirez. which would make their offense gigantic compared to the Yankees at this time even if the slackers from last season wake up. Cashman's slow entry into this off season has me fraidy scared that the is going to trade away prime farm kids for another geezer who WAS good.

Considering they signed Ramirez last week, I'd agree.
