Among Biggest winners are SEC and BT, with ACC and Big 12 as Losers, and G5 as bigger losers.

Also a big winner is the Big East, because it can do it all for basketball and thus outspend all but the richest SEC and BT football giants for basketball.

Not sure I totally agree. Most of the money goes to football for every team in the P4. That will only leave so much for bball.
Yes the big east can focus on basketball but they do not get the large tv contacts either to continue to spend 20.4 million on athletes plus support all the other costs associated with their athletic department.

That was a fluff article. Nothing of substance.

Big East teams if they opt in won't spend near the full $20.5 million. But if they spend $4 million or more it will be more than any P4 school will spend on their mens basketball team.
