Not sure I totally agree. Most of the money goes to football for every team in the P4. That will only leave so much for bball.
Yes the big east can focus on basketball but they do not get the large tv contacts either to continue to spend 20.4 million on athletes plus support all the other costs associated with their athletic department.

Big East teams if they opt in won't spend near the full $20.5 million. But if they spend $4 million or more it will be more than any P4 school will spend on their mens basketball team.

I wouldn't go so far as to say 'any.' But I do think that if you replace that word with 'the vast majority of', you would be correct.
