Celebrate National Orange Day with CNY Orange as we host a food drive to benefit the Food Bank of Central New York! It’s a National Orange Day tradition to honor SU’s birthday by giving back. The Food Bank of CNY serves 11 counties throughout Central and Northern New York and distributes more than 16 million pounds of food every year.
We’ll have food collection bins in Schine Student Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24th. Preferred donation items include: canned tuna, canned fruit/vegetables, peanut butter, pasta/rice/grains, cereals, oatmeal, and soups and stews. Please consider stopping by Schine with your donations!
Can’t make it to campus? We’ll also be hosting a virtual food drive, which will be live from Sunday evening, March 22nd through Wednesday, March 25th. Once the link is live, you’ll be able to make donations at: www.foodbankcny.org/su-alumni-club-virtual-food-drive
