Sat directly behind Gary Dell'Abate (Baba Booey from the Howard Stern Show) at the game yesterday. He was with his son, who is a senior majoring in television and film production at Newhouse. Very gracious to everyone who came up to him for a picture and was really into the game.
BB Son: " I'm majoring in TV and Film Production"
Me: "Staying away from radio, then. Good choice. It's a dying art form"
Me (to BB): "You're stealing some of my thunder. I'm usually the biggest celeb in this section?"
BB: "Yeah? What did you study here"
Me: "Economics."
BB: " Didn't know there was such a thing as an economics celebrity?"
Me (to BB Son): "Enjoy your last few months. Greatest time of your life:"
BB Son: "I know. I never want to leave."
BB; "You'll have to. I can't afford grad school"
Me: " Just get Howard to write a check!"
