Cervelli is gone to Pirates for a reliever

Justin Wilson. Of the back up catches Francisco was the top defensive catcher. Sorry to see him go. He isn't a bad offensive catcher either. I think this might be a questionable move on our Cashman A left handed reliever when the number one pick for the Yankees Lindgren. is making strong move to the top according to all reports. The Steinbrenner boys apparently are dumber than a box of rocks for accepting everything that Cashman lays at their feet. Whether its a big pile of BS or worse they smile and aquiesse.

The Yanks moved one of their FIVE catchers to get a "Boone Logan" type reliever with a better fastball. A guy that the Yanks were after years ago.

But by all means lets keep all five catchers and bet the farm on a kid who spent last season pitching in Single-A and Double-A ball.
