On paper, Alabama should never lose. And yet they do.

But then they aren't held accountable for it.

Last year they got in because the Pax-12 had nobody worthy and because Ohio State had 2 losses.
Eye test was also the biggest reason.
Bama has games the system though more than anyone your right there.

FCS, D2 and D3 players play that many games if they make a postseason run, and they aren't paid.

The speed of the game is a lot less as well.
Plus I think they only play 11 game regular seasons as well.

Too much football. Maybe if they start playing the players this can be a thing but these kids already play 15 games if they are on a playoff team likely playing a CCG. You want them playing 16 games a year and as many games as 20 NFL teams play?

Holy hyperbole. It’s only 1 extra game for 2 teams that make it to the finals. If the ncaa was ever concerned about the student-athletes they never would’ve added a 12th game or allowed conference title games. I’d start there first.

Yeah guess I'm trying to say just enjoy the extra game instead of demanding 2 more.

I know there is a wildcard so sometimes teams play 4 but for the most part to win the Super Bowl you have to win 3 postseason games. I do not want college to mirror that.

If the playoffs get expanded it would suck college would mirror NFL. If 8 teams get in thats close to half of the teams capable of winning a title making the playoffs there are only 15-20 good teams in a given year maybe less. I don't need to see if a 3 loss USC team can make some noise and pull an 8 seed over 1 upset. Those series and games suck ass in the pros and are unwatchable Golden State games int he first 2 rounds are more boring than regular season the same thing would happen in college.

The regular season would suck if it expands to 8 at least with regards to matchups between top 10 ranked teams since losses wouldn't be so crushing. I love that every loss is a big deal. If it was 8 teams Clemson would be able to throw a game somewhere and sit Lawrence since they'd be all set so long as they don't lose 2.

I like the fact that the controversy/discussion is over who is 4th/5th and gets in to play 1 (Bama) vs the previous system when it was who is 2 vs 3. I don't feel nearly as bad for the 4th/5th best team when they are left out as I used to when it was a debate between the 2nd and 3rd and 3 was more deserving than 2 and possibly more deserving than 1. In this system the 2-3 best and most deserving teams aren't getting left out.
