Swap ND and A&M for matchup purposes. A&M has won more games, including a win over Florida, since they lost to Bama than OSU has played all season.

Top seed gets to pick the location they want of the two. Bama media saying Saban preferred Dallas. They’ve played there more than Sugar so more familiarity, better for ticket availability/fans, no Bourbon St distractions which are always lurking for Sugar Bowl.

Committee said they sent Alabama to Dallas because they will have 16000 fans in the stadium and most of the ticket will be allocated to Alabama as a reward for being 1.
Only 3k will be allowed in New Orleans for sugar bowl.
