Odds Tennessee falls below LSU? I doubt it but gotta give bama those quality losses somehow!

Can’t complain that we are out but Kentucky’s resume is worse than ours and they are ranked. Sooo, eh, I don’t know

Writing was on the wall when we didn't even get a single vote in AP. Our reputation makes us too easy to dump.

Unfortunate given that 2 losses were with 1.5 games worth of a backup QB, and 1 was a late loss at a venue that hasn't seen a home loss since a 1 point game in 2016 (and before that, 2013). Oddly, Louisville is looking like a better win each week, they're playing really well right now.

We have the opportunity this weekend to vault ourselves back into the rankings, so it's on us now.

Hypothetical scenario:

-Tennessee wins out and finishes the season 11-1 (no SEC title game, behind Georgia)
-LSU wins out in the regular season and beats Georgia in the SEC title game, is 11-2
-Georgia wins out in the regular season and loses to LSU in the SEC title game, is 12-1

Is it possible that an SEC champion here (LSU) could be third in the pecking order after Georgia and Tennessee? Who gets left out here?

I think that is a real possibility with BIG 10 rep filling out the 4.

This is setting up to have SEC have 3 spots IMO

Big 10 is going to either have Michigan or Ohio State, whoever wins that game

IMO Tennessee gets left out. Yes they won head to head easily at LSU, but they did not win the conference nor the division. They also have IMO the easiest OOC schedule of the 3. The SEC West is deeper. I also think the blocked PAT at the end of FSU makes that loss not as bad in the committee's mind.
