he just got two HUGE middle linebacker prospects in the past 10 minutes.

I thought we still had at least another year in the Big East? Or did I miss where we will be in the ACC next year?

Charlie Strong has done a great job at Louisville. That's a team on the rise. They will be right at home in the Big 12.

Strong is doing a great job recruiting at L'Ville.

FWIW starwise, their recruiting class doesn't look much different than ours.

Actually we should have two more ;)

Just saying that his recruiting success has little impact on our future in ACC land.

Wonder how long Strong will stay at Louisville? Rising star...

I think moving to the Big 12 might hurt their recruiting down the road. They rely on Florida, where Strong has so many contacts, really heavily and they won't be playing many conference games close to the Sunshine State.

Already the talk has started, but I think he stays a few more years at least. I really like him...good guy and really respects his players and vice versa.

Hopefully just one year. I wouldn't expect too much impact from their 2012 recruits, they'll all be true freshmen. And then they'll be in our rear view mirror.

You have to figure that an SEC school is going to throw a lot of $ at Strong at some point. Thinking someone like Tennessee if Dooley doesn't do something miraculous next year.

WVU also...they get most of their speed from Florida

IMO more than anything the B12 needs new markets. They have the good teams already but get killed by having them all be in the same markets. Which is why taking TCU was a little odd. They should take BYU, UL, USF, UCF, UConn, and RU to get to 16. Which kills the BE finally and with one less competing power conference, the more money the B12 can command.

Northeast- WV, UL, UConn, RU
Southeast- TCU, Baylor, USF, UCF
Northwest- BYU, K St, KU, ISU
Southwest- Texas, OU, Okie St, Tech

Can't wait for the shoe to drop on Miami. Charlie might lose his star recruiter. Or not. The NCAA is a joke.
