I would expect him to be used more like OG then a traditional TE

This is a bizare thread to say the least. Chase Simmons played very little tight end, none in the second half of the season. Chase was undersized for DE but played very hard, possibly leading to constant injuries. This is another example of an older player who can't stay on the field. These players are being paid now, have to be available to be useful. As far as tight end the staff is pleased with the three guys they have. CBA kid is strong for his size, special teams showed he was not afraid of contact. He will be used like Gadsen. Two years ago Nunz told me they love Clement, he has been injury prone. Baker Washington is the real wild card, great physical tools and size, could be a breakout player.
