Seems like it will cut down on my Memorial Day Lacrosse related travel:
Chicag0 - definitely won't go
New England - won't go
Philadelphia - might go, if the Terps are involved.
I think the NCAA is really overstepping their bounds considering Chicago. They might get a decent crowd of 'nouveau fans' out there, but the fans who are really going to enjoy a final four the most are those of the teams involved, especially the team that wins it, and Chicago is a very long way from most of the competitive lacrosse team's homes.

After the disastrous attendance at Lucas for the quarters last season (7K), and the alarming declines we have seen in attendance at recent Final Fours, it would be a really bold/reckless move to give Chicago a shot at hosting.
The Midwest had a chance to show how strong support for college lacrosse was there last spring and IMHO, they blew it.
