How do u think he’ll be greeted in the dome by fans?
How do u think he’ll be greeted in the dome by fans?
Go Chris bell!!!!! Light these stooges up !!Yeah, you've got to be creative these days with reasons to watch games. For me, I'd just like to see us get a little momentum going into the acc tourney so we can win a game.
On the season, he's their 4th leading scorer, so its not like he's Ray Allen. But there are nights that he shoots like Ray Allen so you would want your best defender on him. But they have a pretty traditional lineup where Chris plays the three, so in MTM, Nate Kingz would be guarding him. Hopefully they don't go off from three, because I'm not sure what defense Red will employ.Who does Red give the Bell assignment to?
I think he will be greeted by empty seats.Of course, Bell will probably drop like 6 or 7 3s and shoot 60-70 pct from beyond the arc against Cuse, never seems to fail. How do u think he’ll be greeted in the dome by fans?
Scottie Pippen’s son, is their 2nd leading scorer, has the most assists, steals and is a good rebounder for being a guard. He’s also as good a 3 point shooter as Bell this year. He’s also a good defender. Cal has only one rebounder averaging more than 4.5 rebounds, Lee Dort with 7.7/game but who averages only 23 minutes a game. The team appears to share rebounding duties. Bell is their best free throw shooter and averages .875 on 4 attempts a game - more than he ever did at SU so he probably goes to the hoop more than here too. There are 2 other starters, Camden and Ames, who have better 3 point shooting stats than Bell and Pippen has the same % as Bell. Cal relies on their 3 point shooting and their team average is a very high .373 with 4 of their starters averaging over 35%.On the season, he's their 4th leading scorer, so its not like he's Ray Allen. Their last game vs. Clemson they only shot 13 threes and got slaughtered. Their five games prior to that they shot at least 23, so I'm not sure what happened vs.Clemson. I would expect them to hoist at least 23 tonight. And knowing how our guys play defense, many could be wide open shots. Especially if Cal is adept at making the extra pass.Scottie Pippen’s son, is their 2nd leading scorer, has the most assists, steals and is a good rebounder for being a guard. Clemson must have been in their grills forcing them to put the ball on the floor and drive to the basket rather than allowing them to take 3’s. SU should see the Clemson film against Cal. Of course Cal will probably try some new things offensively after the Clemson game results.Their last game vs. Clemson they only shot 13 threes and got slaughtered. I liked Bell, hope he has a good game.

Sometimes I wish I still lived up there. I would never miss a game unless my child was being born during the gameI think he will be greeted by empty seats.
I would start White and put him on Bell. George, Kingz, Freeman, Kyle, White. Starling off the benchWho does Red give the Bell assignment to?
I would have done that a month ago ha.I would start White and put him on Bell. George, Kingz, Freeman, Kyle, White. Starling off the bench
I liked Bell also. Think Betsy has been a similar guy, better on defense but since he gets limited minutes and the team does not pass he does not get many shots up.Shot 42% from3-pt in ACC? Did not realize. Apparently AA did not either.
Red benching JJ would be similar to JAB benching Buddy.I would start White and put him on Bell. George, Kingz, Freeman, Kyle, White. Starling off the bench
And he wasn't great at that one dimension. Gimme Andrew White every day and twice on Sundays. He was one of the most one-dimensional players garnering starter minutes in program history.
You need more to do.Sometimes I wish I still lived up there. I would never miss a game unless my child was being born during the game

I have a full life but you can count on one hand the games I have not watched. Listened to or been at since 74-75You need more to do.
Not a bad idea. Can't see Chris sopping White at all.I would start White and put him on Bell. George, Kingz, Freeman, Kyle, White. Starling off the bench
I think betsey mixes it up under the boards more than Chris did.I liked Bell also. Think Betsy has been a similar guy, better on defense but since he gets limited minutes and the team does not pass he does not get many shots up.
