Chris McCullough: Taiwan Beer Leopards

Beermen are the Yankees of phillipines hoops .. as any insomniac degenerate gambler knows

Chris Mccullough played 7 games so far in the PLG in Taiwan. He averages 20.9 pts, 8.6 rebs, 1.7asts and 1.1 blks this season. Unfortunately he torn his ACL in the left knee last night...

Now he's got a matched set.

He tore his right knee in college.

:(

With that 100K he coulda bought himself 446 shares of Apple at today's closing price of $223.77 per share which would have assured him a quarterly dividend that increases annually, in a company that has about $285 billion in cash sitting in the bank (figuratively speaking), a huge stock buy-back program in place to support the share price, with a 43% ROE, and a real good chance of appreciating nicely over time. That bling? Probably going down in price like a brand new car being driven off the dealers lot . . . and it costs money because you have to insure it . . . you are insuring it Chris, right? Think compounding Chris, compounding. It is the eight wonder of the world!
5 year chart, if going back to the date of your original post it was trading about $39. Prescient

My two lil' man are both playing professional basketball in Taiwan.

When the two were matched up , McCullough ended up tearing the other one's ACL….

Taiwan Beer Leopards???!!!

OMG!!!
I need team merch yesterday!!!!
Not to be overly Cliff Clavin-ee but the name of the team is just leopards, Tiawan Beer is the main, if not only domestic brewery there (I've not seen others in my travels there). My father-in-law however had an old friend that worked at one of their breweries, they thought perhaps because I was American I must know a lot about beer. I was able to sample their various brews drawn directly from the storage tanks and I offered technical feedback such as "yeah, that's really good, man". They seemed to appreciate my feedback, or pretended to. At any rate, their primary lager reminds me a bit of Heineken, it's actually quite good.
