Class of 2015 Chris Silva

Silva has 11 points as RC gets thumped by Patrick School

Francis, just from a look at the score, Angel Delgado of Patrick School looking like a beast as is Pierre Sarr of RC. Sarr has been playing well, and I'm surprised Silva is not getting easy looks in the paint. His offense has struggled this year, but with Briscoe set to return soon, I'm sure he'll get his.
(box did not record rebounds for RC)

Delgado is going to be a beast along with Whitehead next year in the Big Least at Seton Hall. Not surprise that Silva isn't getting those easy looks inside. They don't run many plays for the interior players and it's basically a penetrate and dish out to the perimeter offense. Plus unlike Diagne, Silva isn't as comfortable posting up in the post. I'll bet most of his points will mainly be scored off put backs and broken plays this season. His upside is huge and due to his athleticism I would say his ceiling is higher than Diagne's, but the biggest question will be if he'll ever reach it?

Sarr was very impressive in that showcase I went to. During that game, I sat right next to three members of Fordham's staff and they were definitely eyeballing him. Kid was extremely active and athletic and I was talking to the Fordham staff about how impressive he was.

One of the Fordham coaches says he loves watching Syracuse, by the way.

Looks like RC got swallowed whole by St. Ant's, the same team they and Benny's upset last year, crushing Bobby Sr's magical winning streak.

Silva had 5 points, 5 rebounds, 1 block and 1 steal.

So Mr. Briscoe, now that you're wearing the big boy pants, how about getting RC back on track? He's starting to feel like a Seton Hall kind of guy. ;)
LOL. Have to get used to losing right? Since we know he won't be experiencing too many victories at SH or Rutgirls.

Silva and Briscoe both score 20pts each in victory tonight. Hey Tee, seems like Silva is starting to produce more on the offensive end lately. Have you seen any RC games yet this year?
I wish brother. Maybe catch one with iommi in the near future, but I have been extra lame this year. Not one snowboarding day (yet), not one high school game, but did get to see the Cuse times 2 this year!

Word up, about Silva. Hope that him and mini-Whitehead are forming some chemistry. Not sure if he'd slide over to the 5 depending on growth/development, but would be a pretty nice defensive wing in the zone.

Sarr unfortunately out for the rest of the season.

From OE's post on the Isaiah "The one that got away, aka Fredo is dead to us" Briscoe thread, Mr. Silva cold blows up to the tune of
8 points, 23 rebounds, 5 blocks and 1 assist.

Fellas and ladies, don't know about you, but his rebounding has been bonkers lately.
Chris Silva: Glass Cleaner

Seems like everytime i click onto this thread that there is some post about CS's latest game, and each post seems to include monster rebounding stats. As much as I like and want Diagne, I would be far from unhappy if we wrapped up this kid to take MD's place.

Yup. Grabbed 15 per game off the glass last year. Now finds himself unworthy of a few minutes on a 6.5 man roster.
Oh word? Beast like.

I really would not mind if we landed Silva over Diagne. He seems to have a penchant for rebounding and if I remember correctly was said to be the most athletic out of the big men we are recruiting. I know his offense is a work in progress but I think we can count on the staff to have him progress just like Rak has.

Jimmy knows better than anyone and everyone. One of the reasons I've never been a real fan. Roberson should be a regular off the bench earlier and now its improbable because its crunch time as March rapidly approaches. Sure Jimmy you always know better than everyone. Lets see if he can take two from Krzyzewski this year and maybe the playoffs You gotta be in dream land to think that will happen.
