Who should get more minutes at the 5? Because we seemed to do way better with Christmas in the game than Baye.
What has shown you they are better? Same as they have been since he got here.Just surprised that Keita's hands are as bad as they are.
Keita has regressed badly. Last year he blocked shots, rebounded and gave a great energy boost off the bench. This year he seems lost out there.
Xmas just isn't quite ready yet.
We are a donught team without Fab.
I know they are bad but I was really expecting him to come into this season with a healthy hand and catch the ball better. I was sorely mistaken. What has shown you they are better? Same as they have been since he got here.
Does anybody have any idea what happened to the guy? Going into the season I thought he'd see the floor a lot and be our best rebounder. Now though he just looks like a spaz.I don't want to pile on Keita, but I agree with this. Last year, even though he wasn't an offensive threat he made things happen as a defender / rebounder. He seemed like his Oak Hill experience [playing on a national caliber team, with travel, pressure on the road, etc.] had prepared him well to be an instant college contributor. He was a big factor in the uconn road win last year, for example.
This year, he doesn't seem to make the same contributions, and isn't the same presence on the glass--at least thus far.
He wasn't the reason we lost today--total team sorry effort. Sad part is, if we make a few shots here and there, we come all the way back from that deficit. ND gave us plenty of chances, it just wasn't our night.

It was a strange game in that regard. We couldn't stop shooting ourselves in the foot.
We get it down 8 and Dion dribbles it off his foot on the baseline.
Dip calls that phantom foul on Scoop on that break (after he dribbles off his foot).
Lots of plays like that where we had a chance to close the gap and something happened.
