The circumstances around Shafer doing it (and only Shafer by the way on the MTSU staff as far as I've seen - which REALLY says something) and our coaches or players after a victory like this, after all they've been through the past 3-4 years - it's not even comparable. Their gesture wasn't pointed at Clemson - I can't possibly see how anyone thinks that Shafer's wasn't directly pointed at Syracuse.

It was definitely pointed at Shafer. I agree, Shafer pulling out the cigar publicly in the dome was really bush league and a shot towards his supposedly former 'family'.
