Already has 45 (22.5) this season to bring him to 1144, which is good for 44th on all-time scoring list at SU. If he averages 17/game over 38 games (average), that would bring him around 1750 points and right ahead of Devo, Dave Johnson and Rony Seikaly in the top 15. He averages 20/game and he's knocking on Rafael Addison and Dave Bing's door to break into the Top 10.

Not too bad for a "skinny, raw" lefty from Baltimore.

THANK YOU for coming back. Now, let's do this.

Where would you rank CJ among SU's greats?

I've been a huge fan of CJ's since he committed during his junior year of high school. And I'm not surprised that his game has continued to develop, and that he's shown this type of versatility.

He isn't a transcendent talent, but he's a very good player who is probably going to have a solid NBA career. It will be easier to put his accomplishments into perspective once we know what his final numbers are after his senior year, where he rates against his peers on the program statistical lists, etc. But I think more importantly, it will be interesting to see how this year's team ends up in the post-season, because I believe that this will go a long way toward cementing what his legacy is.

Kid has had a heckuva career, and has been a significant contributor from the moment he arrived on campus. If he's able to carry us to the elite 8 or beyond this year, then he'll also have been a major player on an unprecedented era of consistent postseason success.

Top 20 type of player in our program--and maybe a little better than that.

Where would you rank CJ among SU's greats?

Someplace between Dave Johnson and Raf Addision.

Yeah, that's broad. But, as RF said, a lot depends on team and personal achievements this year.

Depending on what he does this year, I would probably put him at just a notch below Hak on the all-time pantheon. So around that same level, wherever you'd rank Hak, maybe subtract a spot or two and that's where I think CJ will wind up being slotted in.

I'd probably rank him top 25 right now (maybe a little lower considering I'm not thinking of the top 25 players in SU history), but when it's all said and done, he could move up to top 15 or 10 depending on what we do.

Well if we get back to a deep run in the. NCAA's he will definitely be top 20, if we somehow win the thing he becomes top 10 and possibly top 5.

CJ is going down as one of the great, and I can't wait to watch his senior year play out in awesome fashion.

He's already been an integral part of an 2012 Elite 8 team (should've been Final 4 - hosejob) and a 2013 Final 4 team, yet to mention the incredible regular season runs all his previous 3 years.

He's been surrounded by very good talent, but the kid is a fierce competitor who is a proven winner.

A National Championship would really elevate his all-time status. Challenge is on CJ...

He's in my top 25, but as mentioned, can move up on my list depending on this season. I am really impressed that he is putting the ball on the floor more now and taking jumpers inside and out of the three point line. Sure, he did that in the past, but it was usually from a fixed position. That he's taking a few bounces first, you can tell, he's intent on being even more well rounded than last year. He's come a long way and he's building on the prior season each time around.

He will have to carry the team on his back in the postseason (final 4 or better) to earn legendary status. A solid 18 and 8 season makes him a top-30 player in the JB area.

He kinda did that last year :), He is going to do good things this year.

Well said... I can't wait to see his leadership once we start playing the meat of our schedule. That's when guys like Ennis, Cooney and DC2 will need to be picked up. Baye and CJ will be the vocal leaders of this team, on and off the court.

Re-watch that Michigan game. He took over that game in the second half. He was unstoppable. That was against basically an NBA Roster. CJ is a top 20 all timer IMO and a top 5 posterizer.

If you rank his actual career vs his high school rating/expectation considering he had an ACL he is off the charts, max ROI.

He has been very efficient thus far in his career. Anxious to see how that plays out this year when we run plays for him and he is looked upon to lead.
