Man, talk about a kid who understands the game & just knows where to be. He goes for 12 & 9, absolutely 100% in the flow & forcing nothing. Big put back at the end of the half helped changed the MO. A couple of the fouls called against him were very ticky tack.

He even drained a trey & is looking solid & confident w his stroke.

my favorite player who will be a superstar in 2 years. I know at least one other person who agrees with me and has had since day 1.

Good finisher and smart player. That'll win games.

Amazing how he always seems to be in the right place at the right time.

He's a very good player. He has an innate feel for the game that can't be taught, which is why he's often in the right place at the right time.

He has to work on 2 things. Better awareness on defense and ball handling so that he can create on his own better. He's great at being at the right place and the right time and being under control, but he needs a bit of KJo in him going to the basket with the ball to reach the star level.

Motenesque-The unexplainable stuffing of stats when noone notices, only to look in the box score and say wow!

His bball IQ just cant be taught. Either you have it or you dont, and does CJ have it!

My only complaint about CJ is that he absolutely cannot make a shot that's not either inside of 4 feet or outside the three point arc.

We need to rebound better with that lineup though. Good game against a quality opponent but I thought they got way too many offensive rebounds.

We must have been watching different games tonight.

Agreed. Two straight possessions, a VT player put Fair on his hip and drew fouls. Fair's D could use some work. Still love everything else about his game.

his baseline j has been on too, but point taken, he only has a couple spots. what a star though, so much fun to watch on pretty much any possession, either side.

Part of that is Melo needs to learn when to go for the block & when to back off and go for the board. If he tries a shot block & doesn't succeed it leaves a rebounding hole in the middle.

CJ scores inside or knocks down a three now and then. If he made a midrange jumper, I missed it. I don't know if I've ever seen him shoot a 15 footer and NOT back rim it.

And I want to say, CJ has been my favorite player for the last two years, so I'm not ragging on him. I just honestly can't remember seeing him knock down a 15 footer.

You all know you're misspelling his name right? It's not Fair, it's Thickburger.

He's a tenacious rebounder for his size. Very tough kid despite his slim build.

Yeah, two tough possessions for him, though I thought the fouls weren't bad since the guy had an easy bucket otherwise. But that was the same play two times in a row.

That's usually a breakdown that starts with the guards; there were a couple times that someone snuck into the high post and was able to take that jumper.

Twice Fab made a spectacular block. Three or four times he hesitated; either the guy knocked it down or missed it and they got the rebound. If he doesn't get the block, it's bad news for us.

Yeah, that part of his game needs work as does his ability to drive to the bucket. But I do love how he uses his frame on both ends of the floor. He never seems panicked.
