edit - guess not but Flacco's SR season at UDel he was 331/521 63.5% 4263 yards 23 TD 5 int. Might not be a bad comparison moving forward.

It's earlier than 2004 since noone has that qb rating and matching stats. That's as far back as ESPN goes and it's bugging the p*ss out of me that I can't figure this out. lol

i'll take that to mean a veteran nfl qb who played a long time ago, when ratings weren't nearly as high

it's interesting to look at the trend in college qb ratings over time

in 1999 there were 14 players with 140 rating or better. Last year there were 44.

in 99, there were 4 at 150 or better. Last year there were 24.

gotta compare apples to apples.

My point: Nassib and Manning are clones. 6'4" 220. I think Ryan's GPA was a little higher. Manning was taken Number One in the 2004 draft.
My shouldn't NFL teams view Nassib as a high draft pick?

they're not clones. manning had a better qb rating in a better conference in an era with lower qb ratings. he was 17th, nassib is 35th

we need to settle down with the crazy talk. i hope nassib has a good long career without insane expectations.

To be fair, if Ryan's last name was Manning he'd likely be a lock for the 1st round.

There are several moments last year (especially at the end of games) where Ryan reminded me of a Manning. One specific game, and maybe someone with a better memory can help, he moved out of the pocket and actually directed his receiver (like a point guard) while he was under pressure.
