Class of 2032 - Theo Schein

It's entertaining but it's also silly. We have tons of great alums, why schein in of all people?

But whatever it's a nifty letter.

Schein hung up on me back in 2000.

For months Schein was all gung ho about getting RJ Anderson some playing time because Nunes wasn't the answer.

Until the ECU game, when RJ took all of three snaps during the game (he replaced Nunes for SU's 3rd possession of the game).

Then Schein did a 180 and said that pulling Nunes was the dumbest decision Coach P ever made. Something about destroying Nunes' confidence, etc...

When I pointed out to Schein that he himself had been doing a pretty good job of hurting Nunes' confidence for the past month, and that RJ throwing two incomplete passes wouldn't make a difference, I got disconnected.

Schein was Axe and Lindsey years before they were.

Applaud Coach Shafer for this move. Very classy move and it was definitely made personal by the anecdotes included within the letter.

For those asking "why Schein?" We all have no idea if Shafer, or any other coach for that matter, did this in the past. Schein just happens to be a very public persona and happened to tweet the letter. Nancies always negative.

I love going to some of the sites reporting on this and reading the comments, because many of them consist of people saying "OMG they can't be serious!" or "Please tell me this is a joke!"

It's amazing to me how many people don't understand the concept of good natured gestures and humor.
