Well we love to discuss our own attendance so maybe lets question Clemson not selling Saturday's game vs us. Seems like all things would point to a sell out.

-There program has never been in a better spot with 3 straight playoff appearances

-They are undefeated

-The fans are getting their wish and the big time recruit will be making his first start

-The weather will be near perfect

-The opponent beat them last year so its hardly an FCS game

-Tickets aren't that expensive (60 bucks note they are charging 75 for a 'superior' foe in Lville)

-They have sold out NC St and SC so its not like that stadium is regularly empty

Why are 1000 or so tickets still available?

I get CFB attendance is trending down due to TV and the stadiums being so big but this isn't a program like Tennessee or Florida going through a rough patch on the field.

Sooooooooo if Cuse sells all but 1k tickets would you call that a sellout? Cause we all would. We would die for that kind of attendance. I have bigger things to worry about than why Clemson is 1k tickets short 2 days before the game.

Honestly at this point I consider 40k a "sellout" because the Dome looks relatively full.

I am either impressed that you were able to ascend to this level of trolling or embarrassed that you actually are nitpicking 1k unsold tickets that will be sold by kickoff...

Seriously? I have seen so many reaches this week when it comes to looking for an edge. On monday people screamed that the 21 pt spread was disrespectful and that the spread would be 17 by saturday. Well its now 25 bc vegas and the rest of the world knows just how bad our schedule has been and just how suspect our wr group is. Then we berated Lawrence calling the move a panic when he is clearly their best option and has proved it while his reps over the first 4 games have predicted this being the #1 overall tpp recruit in the 18 class. Now it's the fact that only 80,500 of 81,500 seats have been sold for a noon game as of Thursday. Geez, REALLY?

Well I wasn't trying to be critical of them never said they sucked I like their fans just discussing since I'd think their fans would have our game circled as a big one. We are a conference opponent who beat them last year and has 8 players in Canton while Clemson only has 1.

They played A+M in College Station so their other games were Furman and Georgia Southern. Georgia Southern was 79844/81500.

I thought people like talking about attendance. I was gonna post about Miami having good attendance tonight despite having bad attendance since their glory days and the old Orange Bowl (lower bowl is full and people are in the uppers behind the end zones and its Thursday and UNC is bad.)

Lol even when you're overreacting to something you have some ridiculous opinion. The name wins out. That's why the spread is so high. Not because "our schedule" and definitely not because of our WRs. The betting public has no idea about either.

Then you dont understand the genesis of the odds set by vegas. Vegas set the # based on first4 games played...sos, matchups, and yes, the fact Lawrence is starting instead of bryant bc Lawrence and this offense is scary and 5 points better than bryant running the show.

As the week has gone on, the betting public (the world) has realized just how good this team is and esp. Better with TL. the betting $$$ drives the line. So while some on our board think we are within 14 of this team on the road, most of the world realizes just how soft our schedule has been and how good Clemson is. So take all the shots you want, but please understand the spread before you attack others on this board.

That isn't how the odds for a game are set. Vegas sets a line that they believe will get an equal amount of money on each side. I remember when Penn st played Miami for the NC. the odds were Miami by 7. the very guy that set the line said in reality, he thought Penn st should be favored by 7. They aren't trying to pick the winner. Or who they think is better and by how much. They want equal money on both sides. That is how they make their money.

My goodness, you built a straw man the size of the Eiffel Tower with this post.

Agree, thus 21-22 looked ridiculous to the betting public , the casual public seeing our 4-0 record thinking geez, a 4-0 team that beat them last year? So, yes matchups anf this Clemson team being better set the line and the smart &&&, the big $$$ moved the line 4 points. The blind cuse fans and tje casual public bet on the other side...

Just explaining it as many have belly ached about the spread since Monday. The line went in the opposite direction most on this board thought bc bettors analyzed our schedule thus far and factored Lawrence in.

I can't point to one sports commentator that isn't saying that the line is insulting. The overall consensus in the CFB media world, has been that Syracuse is a pretty good team, and that the line is much too high. Yes, the $$$ drives the line. But what drives the $$$? What drives the $$$ is the average fan, outside of Central NY, sees a 4-0 Syracuse team, and the perception is that they still suck...they're Syracuse afterall. Those people haven't actually watched Syracuse this year. They lay money on the name, and that drives the line up. The fact that the line was moving up, means that the general public was picking Clemson.
That being said, we lose by 30.;)
