This game so far is decidedly different than 2018 and 2022, both of which were flukey. In 2018 we scored after a muffed punt. In 2022, we had that 14 point play. Today is nothing like that. We are grinding it out and executing.

I hope you're right, I still see Clemson coming back and winning. I am a Debbie downer though and hope I am wrong obviously.

ESPN just announced they will move to the originally scheduled programing at 3:30PM and let's know the final score of Syracuse-Clemson game.

Can't believe they didn't look at it. I mean it's Clemson so of course they didn't but still

And many catches by Clemson are really not catch. Referees are helping Clemson A LOT.

So I'm on a work trip, I worked until like 3am PST last night, and the plan was to sleep in til 11am pst and try to catch up to live. So after our opening drive I go to make coffee in the hotel room as we kick it off and hear the broadcaster yell ONSIDE KICK!!!! What a start to the morning.

Want to point out with about 8:00 left in the 2nd quarter, on 3rd & 6 for Clemson, we showed a double A-gap blitz, then dropped both into coverage and brought pressure of the edge instead and it worked. Were these blitzes in the scheme the whole time and not being used??? A clear turning point in how the defense has been called since the cameras caught Fran rolling his eyes on the sideline a couple weeks ago. Whatever changed, it's so much better.

Repeating the same statement about the 30 minute rule doesn’t really explain much if they don’t also report exactly when the 30 minutes started or when it ends.

This game reminds me a little of UNLV last year. We just have to keep scoring. A sloppy field could totally change the way both teams can play. Turnovers could become a big factor.

This will be a dog fight. Might be a rough 3rd but Fran has shown he can get these guys to fight. But damn, if Yasin didn't jump then we had a chance to put them in the dirt.

To slightly change the subject... On SU's last drive before the half, when Clempson had us stopped on 4th down, it appeared that Dabo wasted 5 or 6 secs. before deciding to call the TO. I'd imagine he would have liked to have those secs. on the clock when trying to get in FG range as the half-time clock wound down.
