If you guys haven't booked a room yet...forget staying near the game. Rooms are 3-4 times the normal price. Instead you might look at towns 30 miles away. If you are coming from Atlanta you might try the Toccoa/Cornelia, GA area. It looks like it is about 30-40 miles west of Clemson. Rooms are 25% of the rates charged in Clemson.
