I think it's all precautionary. I watched the whole thing. Wasn't violent collision with post at all. He'll be back next wek

and...they gave him the TD because of the injury. His foot was down but he didn't have full control of the ball yet. Not conclusive evidence to overturn but the replay official felt bad

Bad armchair diagnosis by me. It really didn't look bad when I watched it live. Poor kid

usually when you see a neck/spinal injury in football the guy finishes his fall/hit like rag doll. This one didnt loook like that. God bless the kid and good luck with his recovery. Maybe its time goal posts are posted even further back and use some kid of cateleiver design to suspend the uprights.

Or better yet, lets get rid of the kicking altogether. TD's and 2 point conversions, thats it.
