Coach’s mini-meltdown

Aw, man, our coach has still got it! In the first half, the ref called a foul against Chukwu and Boeheim almost went nuclear. It was because Chukwu’s legs were too wide (???). Coach yelled and yelled at the ref, and even went out onto the court. The crowd yelled, “Get back! Get back!” (Well, at least 309 did.) I wonder whether Boeheim’s rant had a positive effect on Chukwu? Kind of like a jolt of electricity? “Wow, Coach really has my back!” Za-zing!

At any rate, Chukwu played like the wind after that!

No. That rule would only extend farther than you arms can reach (to the front an sides) or in directions arm dont go, backwards.

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. We now have a rule that PC is going to have a great deal of trouble conforming to. When you are 7'2" it seems like you need a slightly broader base to stay upright.

Still, I can see the logic in it as a way to stop tripping on screens.

Will JB be able to sell this concept to the refs, who have pretty clear guidelines?
