This is a discussion forum. I would hope nobody hates a basketball coach of the team we all love so much. It's our passion why we spend time on this forum and the love of SU. He is a legendary coach who put SU on the college basketball map. I would love for this team to make a run to finish this season and make it to the sweet 16. I would be the first to say what a great coaching job JB did this season. But there are way too many factors that this program has been going in the wrong direction the last 7-8 years to be optimistic. A consistent bubble team, middle of the pack ACC team, not recruiting like 10-15 years ago despite being in a more prestigious ACC to sell the kids on and being so predictable the way they play and not willing to adjust. My heart says I would love JB to stick around a few more years and get this team back into the top 25 where they belong but my eyes show me that this program needs to go in a different direction. It's not hate for JB in fact 2003 is far and away the absolute best moment in my fandom and he is a hall of fame we owe that championship to. It's been an amazing run but all things eventually need to come to an end.

The moment he referenced some specific guy from Syracuse as a caller from an Axe show, you knew it was long past time for Juli to step in and get some control of this.

Unfortunately, it's only going to get worse while his son is on the team.

He's become that guy on twitter that replies to everyone. Except he's doing it with his voice. Not great, Bob.

Some one attributed the phrase “he attacked my son” to JB. I am going to assume that is hyperbole, but if true, it’s time for him or Buddy to leave.

Whatever. It's more the of the same that our national level "leaders" have established as the new normal. If your opinion is different than mine and you have the gall to speak about it, you are "harmful" or a threat and must be destroyed. Look around, it's happening everywhere.
