You’re not welcomeI will, thanks.

Will he? Shaheens teams are usually tough and play hard…FWIW, Kiyan would be a good fit in Shaheen Holloway system.
My old man took me to see Bing play. I’m right with you.I started 1970-71...this is rock bottom
Are you saying that if Melo brought the same “package” on top of what was already there, it still would not have mattered? If so, the reason for either party (SU or BH) to walk away must be off the charts bad.Hodgson coming or not has zero to do with Melo.
lolYou’re not welcome
They play slower. Kiyan is exactly the opposite type of player that would fit in BH system. Will he? Shaheens teams are usually tough and play hard…
Sorry I didn’t have the sarcasm font onI know. I was riffing on the Hopkins theme that was going on.
I agree. But he was their target too so I’m imagining they couldn’t find partner donors on the same page and they wouldn’t do the whole bit and it tanked. That’s the only way I can make it make sense.Im not anti Lally, its there $$ and they can do what they want with it and I appreciate them giving it. That said it’s not exactly top-secret info they aren't huge bball donors. This idea that SU turned down major $$ from them to not hire Hodgson is fn insane. I know people are pissed but there's some god awful takes in this thread.
Correct, he is only for winners. We are loserslike I said Hodgson isn’t for everyone.
Perfect for KiyanThey play slower
CorrectCuse1055 isn't saying that Syracuse is being smart by not offering Hodgson.

Or we just don’t want to burn moneyWhat I find bizarre, is a school that apparently struggles to graduate alums that are successful and passionate about their school and willing to donate to the NIL, are so focused on hiring alums.
Another coach that hates shooting and scoring.FWIW, Kiyan would be a good fit in Shaheen Holloway system.
The same people who were furious that Lally was pushing his money towards hiring his guy should be equally as furious at the people who are pushing their money towards keeping it in the family. That’s not what I wrote. Read it again. There’s quite a few posters who pass along how horrible the Lallys are because of how they donate their money but are AOK with others doing the same and don’t care how it affects the program. Too bad Ennis left early.
Whatever. Go SU football, let’s try not to suck. Again.
Well x is rough right now for them. I don’t get itSo Lally didn't get their AD choice or their basketball coach. Hopefully for SU athletics they don't take their ball and go home. Sort of like our alumni who would only give for Hopkins.
Still there.
Honestly, I’d almost rather go with a high risk high reward hire at this point. Murray could turn out to be a home run. A lot of these other guys, I’m more skeptical of their ceiling.Luke Murray seems like it should be the move now
Again their money, but they are all clueless. The same people who were furious that Lally was pushing his money towards hiring his guy should be equally as furious at the people who are pushing their money towards keeping it in the family.
People don't look at data they express emotion that's the problem. I was earlier in this thread, but in an open forum not directly to them on twitter, there is a difference.Well x is rough right now for them. I don’t get it
