Wouldn’t surprise me if we hear that Toledo’s head coach is an option… from my understanding he’s been looking to move up for years now and hasn’t gotten the proper looks. Hes a good coach, but has never gotten over the hump in the MAC tourney. Something to keep an eye on with BBlair

What about John Groce? Same conference but different coach. Has been really successful at Akron.

Again it bears repeating. SU is out laying the max amount internally (20.5 mill) and has multiple NIL donors on top of that for fball bball and lax. What they dont have and people keep missing this is is tens of million additional in outside NIL collective that gets you to 10+ Mill+ for bball payouts on top of what they ar doing for fball.

Theres also no way for that to appear with the flick of a wrist or a phone call by the University.

Also think about who broke it. Goodman ha. Who everyone was like what a clown. Not like it was Thamel or a Syracuse Ditota or Waters or even the 50 feet of crap media below because those folks look for the spin and how it doesn’t add up. They spun their side of the story with a patsy to spread it then all that happened all night is confirmation that it’s true that he’s not interested . No doubt we know he’s out but beyond that we know nothing.

Interesting that what Mike Waters reported is that he's out of the running. Not that he turned it down. There are many reasons why we'd decide to no longer consider him. Including that his agent kept upping the ante. Or we finally figured out they were using us to pressure S. Fla. to come up with a better offer. Some day it will be told or leaked as to what happened tonight.
