The one guy I have zero sympathy for not getting calls against duke is dixon.

The HOF coach said a lot of stupid things, and did a lot of stupid things in his 40+ years here. And I remember most all of them. This hire needs to be a completely non emotional hire and based upon facts.
Gerry will be a good coach, but we need a coach who has been a consistent winner over a long period of time. Will be happy if Gerry gets the job, but would prefer he gets it sometime in the future.

Thanks for clarifying. I have been hesitant to do this but I am way too invested now so I am gonna text my former player tomorrow and see if he will give me any inside scoop on Schertz-Cuse. He told me awhile back he didn’t think he was interested so I left it alone (and I messaged him jokingly saying please tell Coach Schertz I need a personal favor for him to take the Cuse job and save me). But now I am going to ask him straight up if there is any fuel to this .

I have talked to a lot of casual SU fans this week and every single one wants GMAC
Only die hard college basketball fans want someone else.

Let’s just say there won’t be a huge jump in season ticket sales after the announcement we are hiring Schertz.

You know if all you have is a hammer rverything looks like a nail if you have multiple player athletes you can be more diversified. Remember Pete Carill. Prinston. Took ZGrorgetown to the brink. Very organized well coached limited athletically but excellent at what they do. Gerry is flexible. He goes with what pieces he has and what gives him the best chance to win.

It's funny, I don't think there's a bigger Duke hater on this forum than me. I root for them to lose no matter who the opponent is. But today I find myself rooting a little bit for them, just because I can't freaking stand. Jamie Dixon.

It's funny, I don't think there's a bigger Duke hater on this forum than me. I root for them to lose no matter who the opponent is. But today I find myself rooting a little bit for them, just because I can't freaking stand. Jamie Dixon.

He does leave a pit in my stomach when I see him on the sidelines. All I remember is clutching, grabbing and holding. They still do it and gets called for it in the tournament.

Was in Buffalo last night… Schertz offense was the best I’ve ever seen in person. They were so impressive. Be curious to see how it holds up against a bigger Michigan team tomorrow.

Trekked down to Buffalo again. Schertz is a national championship winning coach if he has the right situation/nil. Confident about it too.
