Would like to know how Syracuse would be a tourney team next year when we have no clue who will be on the team. It is not sure if any players will return or if they return do they buy into the new coach’s program or if the new coach brings anyone from his team this year.

Don't disagree on needing Schertz but I think we're overreacting to the "public" - Thamel, Curry Sage Hicks and a few others have basically discredited Goodman's report. The public perception of the Big East is pretty poor, I don't think many view Providence as a better job.

As has been mentioned before, he is tearing down what he built. He thinks he IS the program, actually he thinks he’s bigger than the program. Do what needs to be done Blair.
It will because we are seen as a podunk family run business that is getting outbid by low level Big East teams. That’s not great for our perception - across coaches and recruits/transfers.
But you can’t run from the fact that the perception is that they beat us out for BH - and it might be reality - especially if we hire GMac. That’s a really bad look.
It means a ton when the public consists of AAU coaches, High School coaches, recruits and their families.

Agree. I think it's very easy to believe that JB could influence how much NIL would come in if he doesn't like the hire. I think this board continues to be a bit naive on internal politics.

Agree. It seems if he doesn’t get his way he throws shade at the university. Best case situation is that they hire the best experienced candidate and JW takes lead on his way out.
