Was just about to say this but didn’t want to get jumped, so I’m here to back you up on this. Lot of mintz haters here for zero reason.

Him and Maliq were a god send for red. Also happened to be JJ’s best year.

Was thinking this when someone mentioned the other day that we haven't had a quick guard like High Point in forever. Mintz was one of the best we've had in terms of getting downhill. Defense was putrid both of those seasons though and we basically didn't attempt 3 pointers. PGs like Judah are basically a pre-requisite for having success with the isolation/high ball screen type offensive sets that we've run in recent years but it can only be so effective when the defense have 3 help defenders camped inside the paint waiting for you.
